During the first Covid lockdown I wanted to find a way to play Codenames with friends. The servers of most wesbites with clones of the game were congested due to the recently increased traffic.That's when I decided to make my own version of the game.

In the first version users had to screenshare the board to the other players. However, this was not very user-friendly so I created a second version that uses a Firebase real-time database to sync the gamestate for all players.
